王宮内で一番の見所となるピラミッド型寺院で、東西35m、南北28m、高さは12mある。意味は「空中楼閣」。
雨季は寺院周辺部に雨水が溜まるため、寺院が空中に浮いているように見える。
当時の王は、毎晩ここで女蛇神と交わらなければ災いが起こる、とされていたようだ。
西側に観光用階段がある。
