プレアアヴィヒア州、コンポンスヴァイにある大型寺院。コンポントム州経由で行くルートもある。
同名の遺跡がシェムリアップにあるためこう呼ばれるが、地元民はバカン寺院と呼ぶ。
シェムリアップから東に約120kmの地点にあり、乾季、雨季共に約5時間で到着。
寺院は長さ3kmの貯水池を有し、外周壁は一辺5kmの正方形とかなり大きい。
周辺には中型寺院「プラサットドムライ（象の寺院）」「プレアストゥン（四面仏像）」等が残っている。
また周辺には地雷が残り、宿泊施設は無い。
