バイヨン同様、東西の塔門には四面仏が刻まれている。
意味は「僧の砦｣。東西700ｍ、南北500ｍ程ある。
上智大学調査チームが寺院修復を行い2001年3月には274体以上の石仏等を発掘したことで有名。
ここで発掘された物はシハヌーク博物館に保存されているので時間があれば寄ってみよう。
