シェムリアップ南部、トンレサップ湖畔に位置する約140mの小山で、山頂にヒンドゥー三大神を祀った寺院がある。
プノンバケン、プノンボックと共にアンコール三聖山の一つでもある。
遺跡自体はそれほど大きくはないが、ここから見る景色は美しく、雨季は湖に光が映え、一見の価値がある。
朝日・夕日鑑賞にも適している。
